The views from missing link bridge are amazing . Something you can never get to much of. Another late wake up . Heading out soon as wife gets ready.

Wife tossed a surprise at me yesterday . Thinks she wants a Trike also. This could be another rabbit hole. We agree the sidecar stays.

Do I trike the RGL and pick up another RG for the sidecar. Or try a different path. Lot of home work to do.

I only have on requirement. Must have the RG farming.

? I thought that BMW GS bikes were farm implements.  Hadn't considered Road Glides to be used to plant furrows of corn.

Just over 500 miles today. Weather called for rain no madder what we did . We had planned on leaving Gatlinburg TM at 0500 we woke up early it was damp but not rain so took off. All we hit was some mist in TN and KY. Until 10 miles from the motel in Danville IL  A nasty front moved in strong wind blow the big trucks around. Soon as we pulled in the rain came hard.

".... Weather called for rain no madder what we did..."

I see what you did there. 🤣 You guys are sneaky comedians.  I need to pay closer attention.

Looked at the weather, and will keep our paws crossed you get the break the website calls for. 👍

Left Danville IL at 0730. 320 miles home at 1200. One heck of a strong head wind all the way.

Welcome Home!

Pretty epic adventure.  If you are the type to enjoy detailing your rig, it would be interesting to see what you do.  Cleaning and detailing is not something I have any skill at.  So I'm always interested in learning tips and tricks.  👍

@scott-h

I try to keep it simple. On the road I generally wipe it down when it has a heavy coat of due on it. I use Bug slide for any paint glass of windshield.

It is also a darn good retailer and fast. It is not cheap. Wizards detailer works great also use either sparingly.

If you know you will be riding in really crappy stuff. The only S100 product I would use.

S100 Corrosion Protectant that stuff is amazing . Been using it a long time.

For black or silver engine Pig spit. Fast and it works.

Sincerely appreciate the tips! 🍻  Something I will look into.

Dirt bikes are easy.  Street bikes, I'm still trying to figure out how to run them through the automated car wash.

The auto car wash idea...I advise against it.  Errors of youth. The S100 you spray on or spry on cloth and wipe on. You can buff it to a shine or leave it as is. make clean up a breeze latter.
