This trip yesterday made me laugh and sweat: with my rig over three mountain passes in the Italian/Swiss alps. One of the passes, the Stelvio, had 48 hairpin turns, each with a numbered shield. On the photo you see the final turns before reaching the pass. Very nice piece of engineering in a spectacular mountain landscape. On the 2nd photo, the Harley rig looks as if nothing ever happened. But it came a long way: bought in JAX Florida, driven across the USA from south to north to west, shipped across the oceans, carried on a Lithuanian truck from Bremerhaven (Germany) to Zurich (Switzerland), brought through vehicle import and tech check, residing blamelessly on an Italian pass. My shoulders feel differently.

Hi Lorenz, glad to see you on here again. What a beautiful road, looks like a lot of fun and a lot of work. Your Harley looks great. I'm so glad that you are able to ride in the Alps, wish I could have a chance too.

+1. Thanks for the update and the photographs. I enjoy seeing photographs from roads around the globe.
