Taken off 2010GS/DMC rig. New about $700. Asking$300. Only one year old.  Makes steering lighter. Fairly easy to install.

When you say it's a GS rig, you mean a R1200GS right? Not the F800GS?

If it's a 1200, does this come with the OEM ball joint installed?  If no, has this modified lower fork brace ever been used?  Meaning -- did somebody screw a ball joint into it (requires 230Nm of torque) then later remove the ball joint?

Or, if a ball joint is still installed, who installed it?  Is the ball joint notchy or smooth?

Also, is this black or silver?  Are all of the brake hose threaded fittings in good shape -- no cross threading or galling?

I just saw your note. Sorry. It’s an upper fork modification through DMC removed link No ball joints involved. Just replace the 1200 GS triple tree with the new one. I installed it for a brief time. Brake line attachment holes have clean threads. Doug Davey

It's a triple tree?  Never seen that before.  I'd suggest you post some pics.
