Your choice....an EML sidecar, or an EZS sidecar, to go with that K1100LT
The never ending battle...Brick vs Boxer....BMW riders pick your own corners, and come out fighting.....
Good Sunday morning to all your early birds, and on today's menu we are serving up a choice of either a EML sidecar, or...an EZS sidecar, both of which are attached to competing 1995 BMW K1100LT motorcycles, and....both located in The Great Pacific Northwest.
First up, we have the one located in the Spokane, Washington area:

29,000 miles on the bike, just recently had $ 6,000 of high quality work done on it by a well known shop, and asking the low price of...$ 7,295.00
Did I forget to mention that is also has a Leading Link front end on the bike ...AND a Russell Day Long seat ???
Next up, we have another 1995 BMW K1100LT, but this one has the EML sidecar attached to it....located in the Bonney Lake, Washington area.

80,000 miles on this bike, comes with the double seat EML sidecar, and a Leading Link front end, AND a Russell Day Long seat, all priced at $ 9,250.

The real choice comes down to, a single seat sidecar, vs a double seat sidecar. Both of these rigs have Leading link front ends on them, one has much lower mileage, with very recent quality work done to it, and a lower price. The other has higher mileage, higher price.
The beauty of both of these rigs is...they have the European sidecars, built to European engineering standards, and with the related companies Leading Link front ends, IMO these are both a bargain to have such quality in a sidecar rig, on a bike that will handle exceptionally well.
MY OFFER to you folks:Β One of these is only 50 miles from my house....the other is 350 miles away from me, but....if one of you folks decide you want one, both, or either of these sidecar rigs, and work a deal to buy one, both, or either of them, I am in the position to be able to go pick these sidecar rigs up, trailer them to my ranch, store then for as long as you need to have it stored, then pick you up at the airport in Seattle, bring you to my ranch, and send you on your way to...wherever...on your new-to-you sidecar rig.
In my shop, we can both go over the entire rig, adjust this, change the oil, etc, so that the rig is Road Ready, then send you on your way.

If I had a hankering for another K-bike rig I'd have to go for the EZS It's a better looking rig out of the 2 IMO. The EML looks to have the same PIA as mine did, the Calipers run too close to the wheel rim making it difficult, tedious and time consuming to remove any of the wheels. Not having had an EZS I can't speak of goods or bads but both were purposely built and structurally I'd say both are good. Bottom line give me an R100 or Oil Head EZS build.
