I think it's going on 2 months + and no sidecar. I pulled my ranger off the Harley to put on my Triumph America. The frist month I waited and got it final. Wrong kit it was for a T100 Triumph. I called and said it don't fit. Joyce said wrong one you need a America that's right. Now another Month +. I may be a littel off on the time line. I ride Year round( below 35 deg. my hands can't take it). I think I may get some elect. gloves. then I could get to ride 12 months except rain and snow. I want my sidecar on a motor cycle. I think next year I my buy another one so I've always got a spare. It's a thought between dozer, track hoe and farm tractor repair. Oh and horse repair boy Ive got one right now that would make a roucky hide their head in the sand.Rudyr

Hey rudyr: I've found that with an electric jacket liner keeping the body, shoulders and arms warm, the need for electric gloves diminishes, especially if you have a fairing or deflectors to keep the wind off your knuckles. Hope the horse gets well and you get you sidecar rigged up soon.

I use Gerbing electric gloves. No temp controller just the on/off switch, I do have to turn them off once in a while to keep my hands from sweating. My last bike had heated grips that helped a lot in the cooler weather but real cold required both. My cold hand problems are excessive, numbness and blue fingernails at anything below 50 degrees, you'll like the gloves.

Well Swampfox the horse you or talking about is doing just fine, this is a diffrent one. I don't know where he has been, missing for three weeks have looked all over for him. And horses and me taking trips, we will leave today on a Cruise my wife booked. My son and the Vet. for 7 day. It's only money that's why I work when I'm retired. I guss I should get some heated gloves and just good with the sidecar. But you all know how it is we do what we must not what we want.Rudyr
