Windshield or wind screen that was round?
A few years back I had viewed a sidecar that had many accessories on it that made it look uinque. Not sure if it was Liberty, Legend or what. I have forgotten over the years. Any rate, I recently tried to track the pictures that showed the windshield on the tug. It was an oval or round one that folded flat, I believe. It was in the style of windshields one would see on an antique auto of about the 1900's or brass era. Sort of like a Franklin electric or such would have or even a vehicle from the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang group. Any rate, I searched through all the various sidecar dealerships and manufacturer's, but I could no longer find the windshield I had once seen. Anyone know which manufacturer may have offered such? I believe the sidecar in the picture was a forest green and the accesories were mainly brass colored or such.
Did I just dream this, or did the manufacturer simply stop offering the windshield and removed the pics of such from their site?
Thanks,
Huey
Was it similar to what is known as a Brooklands windscreen? Maybe a different shape? Go to Motorvation.com for a picture.
For some reason, I could not get a pic to load of that windscreen. I wrote them an email to find out if it was indeed what I was looking for. Thanks for the tip, as it may well be the one. I'll find out when they answer the email.

The folks at Motorvation offer that wind screen but they charge a pretty price for it. I bought my last one from Sheldon Aubut (and then sold it back to him) but I know he got it off eBay. These are available (from the same guy) on eBay most of the time. If you look at item # 220083112605 you can buy one for <$120.
Good Luck!
Moss Motors has Brooklands windscreens.

I have a Brooklands screen on my Motorvation Spyder. It looks cool but it is completely useless for diverting wind off the passenger. It might work if you got your nose right up against it and hid behind it.
That's absolutely correct. The Brooklands screen is 97% decorative. The best applications use the screen down low on a cowl or with a wind skirt. The current version that mounts on posts is not much protection but it sure looks good.

It will work above 126.35 MPH....BUT...Looks cool all the time 🙂
Thanks to all on this bit of replies. To be all honest, I am not quite sure that is the the same one I saw, as, in my mind I was thinking that the one I had seen was brass for some reason. Probably I am wrong, but the mind plays funny tricks on you at times. Sure is a significant mark up in price on the Motorvation site. Any rate, I can see who it would enhance a sidecar's looks, but also how it may not be so useful as well when it comes to deflecting the wind.
I took my Ural windshield and altered it a bit so that I have cinch pins that can easily be removed and the windshield taken off. I also used some collar shafts to go onto the original Ural bolts for the windshield frame. It made for a nice looking modification that allows me to easily remove the windshield anytime I happened to want to. Not that I really ever expect to have to do such, but it is now where I can if I want. I posted a pic of it on my albums (Huey). Also added a chrome ahooga horn for some extra bling on the rig.
Not sure if this windshield would look right or fit right on a Ural. I was hoping to find the picture of the sidecar I had originally seen it on. I remember the lights on the sidecar were uinque and looked very good with the windscreen as accessories to dress it up. Maybe I'll find it in my stack of CD's I have copied pics onto, but my current computer photo program is giving me grief and it is about time to take the old Gateway back to the shop to have a good tune up.
Thanks for all the input and pics.
