my ural with wind screen up on the hack blasted the driver badly. Screen down and cover on the hack it was ok.

Current ride Kawa 1500 drifter with ;classic hannigan side car, no problem with blast from the hack. Wind screen does not retract but it ;al;so does not seem to blast the driver. Perhaps it is a factor of the location of the screen to the driver. Perhaps it is just back far enough that the dflection of the wind does not hit the driver.

I have not asked other hannigan owners if they have a problem, i don't.

I thought about this the last couple days as we ride down the Pacific coast on the Strom. On a couple of stretches coming thru SF we were cruising at 80 on the freeway. No issue. It seems as the SC is positioned so that the SC windshield is perpendicular to the gas cap on the tank (about where my elbows are). I think that the deflected wind passes behind me (say what?) Also, my SC is a little further away than some as I have aluminum panniers on the Strom. Unfortuntely, if this (these) are the causes, it may be difficult to rememdy.
