What brand of sidecar will work with a 1996 BMW R850R, I would like to find something that has the correct mounting hardware and not have to worry about fabricating parts. Ernie

You will need a sub-frame to install any sidecar to this bike. Some are commercially available at this site. Some sidecar vendors also can furnish one with your car of choice. With a sub-frame attached there are lots of sidecar options.
