Where is everyone
Four weeks, 5100 miles and nine states and only one other sidecar. Where is everyone?
I'd be out there, but finding a sidecar is proving to be a challenging feat. I drive a C50T and would like something my grandkids will be safe and comfortable in.
stuck at work most of the time, but did make the national rally and put on about 8000 miles this year on the rig.also about 1500 on the solo Warrior
Hello
I have an excuse I am in the UK.

6 weeks. 19 States. 1 Canadian Province. 7000 m. NO sidecars!
In Dallas for the next week, then heading out to Griffith Park.
Chances are there'll be a few rigs at Big Jim's in Sun valley on the 27th and a few more at the Crystal Springs area in Griffith Park on the 28th.

Lonnie,
Who's Big Jim?
Sun Valley, Idaho?
Big Jim's is where the pre 36th Annual Griffith Park Rally dinner party is.
That would be Sun Valley, CA. (Sorry)

10°N, 84°W,
appearently the only SC in Costa Rica that gets seen on the road from the dozend that does exist in the country. (in 3 years only 14.000km > made much much more as youngster.(24.000-45.000km/year combined 2/3wheels)
Met from far away one MZ from police department 1993, 1996 a vintage Harley (about 30ies) and early spring this year a guy who made it down to Patagonia as I saw one of these days in internet. White and blue Beemer/Ural rig.
In 2 month (6000km Norton 2w + 2000 in car) US 1988 only 1 Beemer at the Grand Canyon with horrible Mikey Mouse mountings.
Before that hundreds (or thousands?) in Germany nearly every 2. day.
There you find 2-3 rigs per 100 bikes (over 250cc).

A number of them around me. I know of nine within 35 or 40 miles that see regular use and about a dozen more "Collectors" who seldom ride. Mine goes to work with me almost daily and at least once a week I'll see another either on my way to woprk or on my way home.
2,400 miles, 3 states and I don't recall talking to anybody along the way riding a rig. Now on the other hand we had to make extra time at rest areas, campgrounds, convenience stores, etc. for conversation. I think EVERYBODY likes sidecars. Especially ones that tow a pop-up camper and have such a cute little dog and lest I forget to mention my lady in the sidecar.
Ralph,
The same here. Me, the wife, dog and a popup trailer. Spent more time having our picture taken then drivine soomtime it seamed like, especially at The Grand Tetons and Death Valley.
Archie and I did the Sweeny's Memorial Run out of Spokane yesterday. We had the only sidecar in the group but did meet one person who has a sidecar at home he wants to mount. Gave him my card and a USCA brochure along with chatting a good while. As well as chatting with lots of people along the way. Excellent ride, excellent day it was.
I met a couple in Salmon, Idaho who were from Oregon I think and interested in getting a sidecar. I gave him a card and told him to get on the computer when he got home. Then he said he has met a guy on the internet named Sidecar Mike and I said I know who he is. Small world.
I just returned from a Rally in Sebring, FL about 100 miles from the house. Over the week-end I saw 10 rigs but then only one was new to me. They are out there you just have to hunt.
