Mark at Florida sidecars is making lights and can help with some other parts. In the technical forum there is a tread about what parts work for what. We can provide mounting hardware and all of the parts for between the bike and the sidecar. We have brake parts. www.bikescreen.com makes the windshields.
There are work a rounds for most every thing on these or any other older sidecar.

Great resources.. thanks for sharing. :0)

I did, in fact, purchase the sidecar I was looking at when I made the original post. It's attached to a 1980 Honda CB650C. My kids and I have used it for simple, short travel as well as overnights at campgrounds within an hour or two from home. So far, she's held up well! Somewhere soonish I hope to take the whole rig to a mechanic who used to race sidecars and will be able to set her up perfectly for us. My kids have grown a lot since I bought her.. aka Clarity.

Congratulation Debby,
I had the CB650RC model and would have loved her to convert into a rig as the engine was lasting and lasting and lasting. As yours is pretty old now you should check on the carburators the accelerating pump diafragm as it likes to crack, gap at the butterfly flap axle passing through the carb housings. wear in gas needles and jet and smoothness or wear in the underpressure pistons. As long the carburators are sincronized and working in parallel the bike goes smooth and will pull well. Other week point I had were the swing arm bushings which I had to change too after 78.000miles.
For the garbage original back shocks I put Koni and was happy ever since after that change.
I sold that bike with 93.000mi in 1989 and the follower used her until 131.000mi in 2004-5.
I wish you all the best luck with yours.
Sven
