28,800.00 EUR at the moment is 37,110.98 USD.

But who's counting, eh?

If you stop and think about it for a moment, the prices of sidecar rigs are sort of scary. It's definitely a toy for the dedicated enthusiast or those well off enough to be able to afford expensive but only semi-practical transportation or have a lot of discretionary income. My house is only valued at about 40 grand. Even for those that can't afford a new automobile the prices are prohibitive in most cases.

I obtained mine through a fluke of windfall cash but couldn't have afforded it otherwise. If I had to replace it now I'd be sunk without a trace to show where I went down.
