Phelonius - 7/15/2014 8:33 PM: You need only two things in your life. Zip-ties and WD-40. If something don't move while it should, then use WD-40. If something moves while it shouldn't, use a zip-tie.

Does that apply to your bowels too?

Could you explain?

Ran errands into and out of Portland. So much more fun than driving the truck. True pleasure on a beautiful 80 degree day. My poor truck has tears coming out of it's headlights. I think it's sad because it isn't being driven!

PARDON THE FINGER

CHILI & i rode up to TURNER FALLS & the FRIED PIE shop yesterday

we got started a bit later than planned so we just hit the boulevard & did our 1st EXTENDED INTERSTATE RUN

90 miles up, to meet w/ friends, wasn't as bad as i had feared

SUNDAY morning traffic was light & we had a bit of a tail wind

once our bellies & PATIENCE'S trunk were properly filled w/ FRIED PIES, we hit the back roads back to THE SMOKE HOUSE in LINDSAY, TX & for some FINGER LICKING GOOD BBQ

250 miles of nuthin butt grinns!!!

Opposite of Swoody126 - great picture! The Witches flew to the Strip District in Pittsburgh for our Friday ride. http://www.neighborsinthestrip.com/ You can get everything here! 5 of us shopped - bought everything from crab legs, prosciutto, Pirates shirts to cherry pitters and fresh bread. That trunk was full. I parallel parked better than in my car - no reverse on this Broom.

A friend and I finally got my sidecar attached to my Road King today, well yesterday actually. Road it around town a bit and it didn't fall off or put me up onto someones lawn.

Looking good there hdjoe! I now see why you're in the market for a new sidecar wheel. 😉

I took off the fender and Plasti-dipped it late last night, I'll be working the on the tub today. The tug is getting new oil lines, oil change, clutch adjustment, transmission fluid and/or a front tire, depending on how I feel after work.

Petey and I rode over to Cashmere last Monday for the UMCI international rally. Came home yesterday. Might get the photos downloaded later today. A great rally, good turn out and for once my bike got us there and back without incident. Only other sidecar there was Peter and Nellie Bender. Lots of solo bikes, trikes and Can Am's. And RV's...

Here in the Black Hills of South Dakota we are 4 days away from Bike Week, The Black Hills Motorcycle Classic. Or just say Sturgis. But the Bikes and the vendors have been arriving for more then a week. I decided to take a little preview trip to Sturgis. It is 30miles from Rapid City by I90 or it is 40 miles going through the hills via Nemo Road and Vanocker Canyon. Which route would you take? ( We will have maps ready for you at the 2015 nationals.) I rode the Hills, walked Main street and eat lunch. The Tee shirt and Leather venders are open but the good motorcycle venders are not there yet. I returned back to Rapid City using the same route. The principle applied was that the same road a different direction is a different road.

But here is the real story. As I was coming down the last couple miles of Nemo Road I noticed a white PU behind me. Just as I entered Rapid City I turned onto a residential street, the PU followed, honking his horn. I pulled over thinking ________ (fill in the blank). I pulled over and he jumped out and said “Do you know that your bike leans out at the top and you look like you are sitting crooked in the saddle?” My answer was “yes”. What followed was a 15 min. discussion of sidecar alignment. Prefaced by “Sidecar engineering is an oxymoron”.

I have experienced a lot of SDF, but this is a different level, being pulled over to talk sidecars. This is a “Sidecar Delay Event” SDE,

Avanell & I went to the sidecar museum and gift shop in Howland Maine. Heading from here to visit Fly & Mrs. Fly. He is planning a ride down to AMA museum to see the plaque for Hal Kendal. Next will be Flint hills memorial for Joyce, then to Uncertain Tx. for Lee's rally. Then home to save up social security for next years run to Sturgis.

Will and Harold don't have a large membership to draw from. Volunteers are welcome to step up and offer help. We ill probably get there a week early. They know they can call on us to help any way possible;
