last saturday i took both of my girls (wife and daughter) on our first ever 3-up ride up along the eastern shoreline of lake huron...
we got about 60 miles out (after stopping along the way for a little art/music fest) and noticed that we had 'just missed' the rain. as we neared our destination (the 60 mile out town) it started to rain again. i had to push on because the fuel was running low and it would be closer to the town than to turn around...
stopped and got gas and headed home. we hit a patch of high winds and stronger rain but this being a little ol' state highway through all sorts of farm land there were no overpasses to wait out the weather. we pressed on...
it was getting worse and worse so i stopped at the first gas station i came to (on the way home) with an overhead. the wind changed direction and the overhead was too high to do much good so i pulled around the side of the building. i had to at this point because the weather turned into Forest Gump rain. you know sideways at high velocity...
i pulled the camera out and snapped this of our daughter in the hack. we were ALL soaked to the bone by the time we got home. there were reports of a tornado coming through there just behind us...
Tough circumstances, but one you all will remember for a long time. Thanks for posting the pic.l

That's about the time we had gusts west of Ann Arbor that were reported to be around 100 MPH. Took down trees, stripped off siding and shingles, and dropped a tree limb on my wife's car.
Sure glad you didn't get into that mess. I'm guessing you didn't get out this passed Saturday either judging by the weather around here.
I must say I'm disappointed. I saw the thread title "wet girl" and clicked on it eagerly anticipating the pics you took at the wet t-shirt contest you attended in your rig.
