Actually it's Milow's fault. He posted a couple weeks ago about hi upcoming summer vacation, and his Goldwing... When I inquired i found he had a Hannigan GTL on an 1800, a rig I have been considering (along with 3 or 4 others).
SInce he lives very close, Connie and I stopped by his place Sunday on our return trip from Las Vegas (and the Bob Seeger concert).
Not only was I impressed by Floyd's rig, he was nice enough to let us take it for a short spin, Boy was I impressed.For touring on the open road I think it will be wonderful. The power of the 6 cylinder is sweet indeed.
So today I purchased a new Goldwing (pick it up Friday in Veags) and ordered a new GTL from Hannigan (get to ride to Kentucky in April).

Sounds like a winner to me. Heck man you might as well cruise on up to central pa after leaving hannigan's and say hello.
Claude, I may just do that. We are taking a month for the Appalachian Trail in September, so, if not April, Sep for sure.
