Does anyone supply a shorter windshield for the Velorex 562? I never use the convertible top and just think the rig would look better with a Brooklands type windshield, but what to do about the cockpit trim and original windshield mounts? Thanks

You must have a 562E where the windshield bolts to a flange at the front of the cockpit.
With either models 562 or 562E (or 563T). You can use a piece of 1/8" Lexan or plexiglas for the windshield. It will bend easily and fit into the windshield moulding. I make them about 6" high.
Use the OEM windshield for the template, mask the Lexan well and cut it with a jigsaw with wood blade. The rough edge can be sanded or finished off nicely with a piece of chrome auto door edge trim from a parts house
I use a die grinder for the holes as a drill sometimes will catch and crack the plastic. Using a drill in reverse will also work without cracking the plastic.

Thank You very much! That sounds like a job that I can handle and, I can pretty much choose the windshield height. I just thought that it would give the rig more of a vintage look if the windshield were shorter.
