I've seen a few for sale but never seen one mounted on a GW. Anyone got a link to a picture?
I don't think it would be a good match, even the smaller GL1000 wings are a bit heavy
The sidecar is plenty strong to do this, the GL 1000-1200 would be a better match then the GL1500/1800 Do not remember ever doing one but we do have the hardware to do so. Make sure the sidecar is not a Ural or Dnepr or worse a CJ which people often call all of these sidecars generically "Urals" and that the Ural sidecar has the DOT approved wheel as it is stronger then the none DOT approved wheels. The none DOT approved wheels on all of these sidecars tend to be some what less then round. These are the wheels where the hub looks like a bottle cap with the out side spokes much longer then the inside spokes. The DOT wheel has all the same size spokes. The other reason to make sure it is a Ural and not one of the other similar sidecars is the Ural is higher quality as such commands more money for it then a Dnepr or the Chinese CJ.
