Triple tree install
Went by the shop where the triple tree is being install and they are almost done --- Rig should be ready Wed or Thursday. The front end sure does look way out there -- hope there will not be too many adjustments after this!!!
Picked up my rig today and WOW--- its a competely different animal. Handles lots and lots better -- steering is light, left curves feel alot better, stopping, starting --- hell everything is better. Cost of tree, heavier fork springs and labor ran ~$1700 --- money well spent. Now just need to work on refining the ride -- like bike lean angle, tire pressures and who knows what else !!!! 🙂 🙂

Good deal, Art. I found the same with my rig after installing the trees.

Hey Art, glad that it worked so well for you, sounds great. I have ordered a triple tree, and progressive fork springs for my rig, should be here in the next couple of days. My son the Harley tech, is going to help me install it, hope mine works out as good as yours.

Lloyd -- hope your changeover goes well. I was really pleased with my bike and at the same time POed at myself for spending money on other things that helped with the shakes but was really useless. I could have saved $400+ by going straight to the triple tree change.
So you new guys out there -- if steering is hard, by pass the BS stuff and go to the raked triple tree.
Lloyd -- see you at the East Tex muster -- BRTET
