Hi MotoHack Tomco has a good drive from sidecar as does Jay at http://www.dauntlessmotors.com/. Not sure if Tomco is still producing sidecars but there are a few used ones out there. There are other small companies in AZ and Canada that are also building drive from hacks if a person has the money. Think the big problem is insurance liability.

Personaly I bought a Tomco on Ebay attached to an old Honda Automatic last year. Next I got a bigger bike and we are attaching the sidecar to the bike. It is a long slow process mainly because the money but hope to have it completed in July. Taking video and stills looking to make a documentary to help out someone else interested.

A drive from hack is just what it says. A person in a chair wheels up a ramp into the sidecar and controls the bike or "tug" from the sidecar. They are tanks to drive and have to be extra careful but for those of us in chairs who love riding bikes it is heaven.

keep in touch

Hi! I am also in Oregon. I had a Tomco for many years with a steering wheel. I sold it to a guy in Bonanza, OR and it wound up in Hawaii.
There is a way to keep the bike for driving like a tank. It can be made to control like a butterfly.
If anyone might know of my bike I would like to find it. It was about 1985 when I sold it.
Del
