Good day fellow riders, my daughter and I are on the return trip from NJ to Mazatlan, Mexico. We're on our second tire in need of a third. Problem is, we don't have another tire. Does anyone know of a shop/mechanic in the north or central part of Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama, who might be able to help? We're running a 1978 BMW R100s with an 80's 562(?) Velorex using a 100/90-16, but the original was a 3.50-16. Any help would be appreciated. My cell is 856-498-6128 or 856-213-7546, if the first goes to voicemail (no service). Thank you Aldo and Alli

Can't help with the tire but suggest you check your toe-in from the sound of things.

Definetely toe in. Get 2 straight edges and measure the distance between the sidecar wheel tothe back wheel and the front of the straight edge to the front tire. The sidecar should toe in about a 1/4" ish.

I spoke with Aldo last evening and our own Bud Amy got him lined up with a tire and he and Alli are on their way again. He realizes that he has an alignment issue, he has been fighting it throughout his trip. I'm guessing that he mounted his sidecar using the provided clamps and they may have slipped.

Anyway, this sidecarist is back on the road!
