The Sidecarists...gone to the dogs
The new issue of The sidecarist arrived .great issue .Remembering Joyce was very nice. The sidecar dogs are a great treat . the article about the movie Sit Stay Ride ,The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs by fimmaker Eric W Ristau is a great article. and the cover title page war rages on . also the tech article very helpful .so a tip of the helmet to the editor .
i am getting so many requests to get a copy of this issue over on the USCA facebook page.
I absolutely LOVE the Sidecarist and look forward to it more than any other magazine I take. It's well written, has great photos, and is devoured immediately upon arrival.

Martin, the Editor, did a fine job under some tight deadlines. Thanks to Bob Wark for the tech article. And a big thanks to all who submitted their sidecar dog photos - the timing of the proposed movie was fortunate.
Please remember The Sidecarist magazine is published for us sidecarists by us sidecarists - that is, the content is dependent upon all of us. Please take a little extra time to photograph and document your travels, restorations, installations, repairs, etc. for publication in the magazine. Not all articles need to be as detailed as Bob's tech piece - a short narrative along with a few captioned photographs can make for a nice article. And it's OK to submit a photograph or two with an explanatory caption(s).

Lee is so right .send those pictures ,stories and tall tales to the Sidecarist Magazine . Martin has done a great job of putting out fun and interesting articles in the Sidecarist .we just have to keep sending him the things he needs to put it in it .and don't forget USCA's Facebook page .it helps get the word out to sidecarists the world over.
Good reminder Lee. And I think Martin is doing a fine job indeed. I think the discussion about what font he uses on the cover or anywhere is much ado about nothing. Or much doo doo about nothing...
I also look forward to The Sidecarist every month .years ago i used to subscribe to a dozen magazines .But now i really only look forward to the Sidecarist magazine. [and the Dogs in sidecar issue is my favorite]

What they said 🙂 Nice job, every month! The tribute to Joyce was very nice. Liked the tech article and the dogs (don't tell my cats). Thanks!
Just me--- but it's about time to stop whining-carping and bitching about the type on the front cover. Good God people just be glad we have a magazine devoted to sidecars. You seem to forget we are a very small part of motorcycling. As a minority group we are damn lucky to have a magazine devoted to us!!! I get a lot of bike mags. and find almost no sidecar related stories or road tests or coverage . So instead of whining about the cover do something positive, and write an article or send pics. of a trip you took. If you want something to crab about--- how about in the latest issue the piece on the upcoming Louden sidecar races, where they will "very generously" will let you make a "parade lap" for only $15 per person. Can you say "greedy price gouging" bunch boys &girls??
Hank ,to quote that great cartoon character Foghorn Leghorn "thats a joke son " ."The title page war rages on "is a joke because its something that people really aren't whining about .there are a lot of positive people here .this was a thread about praise for Martin putting out a great sidecarist issue .
WOW!
CHILI was hard enough to live with, before the issue came out
after seeing her pictures in the magazine, she'z impossible...
MANY THANKS, MARTIN, for all you do
sw & CHILI, the wonder monkey(in training)
