Am I not seeing the right place to click? I can't find the link for the Spirit of America Install Instructions.
Thanks Joyce, I did see your post but I don't see the instructions. I have looked at it with the latest version of Windows Explorer and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox but I still don't see a link or instructions. I see the phrase "6 pages of Instructions" but it doesn't link to anything.
You are right. While it shows an attachment it doesn't seem to be available right now. We've had to remove some attachments to keep this forum running and it was a pretty large file.
See if this works...u may have to enlarge it. IF you have th eclamops like shown in the pictures I WOULD NOT use them.
The Spirt was the frist side car I every had that some one eles made. And I think it was 1972 or 3. That I got a Spirit America sidecar I really road it hard. Befor that I built what we called a side-hack back then. WE ice raceed with them in Ill. and Wis. in Jan thru. The AMA didn't allow ice raceing with studed tires back then. So we raced with those side-hacks to gain AMA point thru the winter. back then I didn't know the Sprit were so dangers built, boy I sure had a lot of good time with her and I sure stress test the one I still have. I called a couple deal last year for a few thing to mount it and they prettie much said don't do it. So I just mounted up a new Texas side car. Many years ago I let a guy form Texas take my sidecar and he made a mould for the box and made a frame. I don't know what after that.Rudy

Do you have a Spirit? If you really need instructions just call Texas Sidecars and they will send you some...I've got a set if you would like you can have them....
If you need any pictures of installation I ve got those as well..
