Has anyone ever setup a solar system in a hack? I'm thinking about setting it up to act as a trickle charger, plus to run electric clothing instead of pulling from the main charging system. Plus the extra weight would act as ballist for the hack. Any ideas? What would be needed besides panals, converter, battery etc...
You can buy trickle chargers for your bike, but I don't think it would be nearly enough for electric suits. http://batterystuff.com/solar-chargers/
Thank you for the link, they do have exactly what I need. I should be able to run the clothing as well as trickle charge both batteries and with the plugs that come with the systems, heck I could have my wife making coffee while I'm driving down the road 🙂
I think a Solar System might overload your rig.
Just Anteres and Halley's comet would probably more than fill it up. LOL
I'd start smaller. Maybe with a solar powered generator.
