I remember vividly my ride across WV on US 50. Beautiful ride, Great People!

I've got a sweet spot for West Virginians.
One name of Billy Strandy saved my A** on Black pond when a raft (made of 5 railroad ties) capsized and the two of us, Roger and I, aboard went under.
Billy (on a bigger raft) was poking around in the water with his pole to reach for us and happened to whack me on the head. I grabbed hold, he pulled me onto his raft and then we both drug Roger onto the raft. He was pretty well waterlogged.
Couple of good ole North Calinky boys in our group back then too.

Thankyou Dave.

Hey Jim you are right about Rt 50 I live 15 miles north of Rt 50 where it runs into VA but I have only run Rt 50 from OC MD to Clarksburg WV .
We got ours in today's post.
Got ours today.
Judy & Lonnie

My new member package contained a Nov/Dec issue of Sidecarist and the Jan/Feb issue was in the massive pile of mail awaiting my return from my winter escape to GA.

I rode it all the way across the state on the return trip from DC to Minnesota. I had been upstate NY at Americade, stopped at Gettysburg, and DC on that ride.

Got mine yesterday and as usual it's fabulous.
