Sidecar Tire
What type of sidecar tire do you recommend? Can you use a motorcycle tire, Avon sidecar tire or a automobile tire? Thanks
What size and what are you going to use it on? I use Cheneg
shin or the cheepest I can get

It would depend upon your usage needs. The size and heft of your rig, existing wheel and tire type and size. ie: auto or motorcycle wheel.
Backroading or freeway touring, driven wheel or slave wheel, a lot of variables that would need to be addressed before choosing the safest tire to use.

I have a '72 HD FLH 1200cc. It's probably about 800lbs plus the '69 HD sidecar car (200lbs?). I currently have motorcycle Dunlops on the bike and the sidecar wheel is 16" and slave driven. I will be driving in the city and some hwy. What's your opinion for a good tire. Can I use the same motorcycle Dunlops tire on the sidecar?
We have a very limited supply of the twin tires in stock. These are automotive tires that fit right on the stock rims. The tires can be seen on our web site www.dauntlessmotors.com

Unless you have whitewalls, 402P (Police) Dunlops handle great and wear well.

What bike/sidecar are you getting all that mileage on ChenShings with ?
Bike too, or just the sidecar ?
I've used the 6 ply rated ones on Velorex cars and they wore well.

That was just the sidecar, a Cal frame widened 9" with a flat bed to carry my 4 wheel cart about 325#. Have put them on the bike now will see what goes. Bike is a 1100 Honda Shadow
