Sidecar races

Sidecarracers.com posted their 2016 schedule. They will be at my local track (Summit Point Motorsports) twice this year. Now to decide which race we want to have a sidecar gathering at.
Thanks Doug. This is what we need until we get Bruce Stephens replaced.
Wife and I are planning on the August 20-21 races. We'll bring my outfit, her trike, and our m/c camper. A gathering is a great idea.

We have had informal gatherings here before but the tracks website doesnt have much info for camping and such. If you call they usually know even less. BUT since I live 10 miles from the track I hope to work with them to get that problem resolved and to do some planning. Claude Stanley @ Freedom Sidecars did a lot of promoting and had some guys come down last year.
I was going to ask you about camping, as a search of the area around the track location didn't reveal anything of promise. Any information would be most helpful. Thanks

Listed by price and amenities.
Summit Point Motorsports park has room to camp (no water or electric hookups) and two Bath Houses on the facility on each end of the Paddock area.

Wow, Thanks Doug. We were hopeful that the track would have camping. Several years ago we went to the SuperBike races at Barber Motorsports in AL and camped on the property. It was a blast. We're really looking forward to coming up there in August. May and June we'll be traveling a different route, but we're marking our calendar for Summit Point in August.

A question: Are the sidecar races run the same day with motorcycles in separate heats? Or, is it a full day of hacks only?
I ask because I have been active with the MC races at BIR (Brainerd International Raceway) for years and have wondered about sidecar racing.
I may try to get to one of the listed events: Just for fun.

I'm guna try to make it to Gingerman in early June.

The only races I go to are the ones at Miller in Tooele, Utah and they are at the AHRMA races so it is vintage bikes and sidecars all weekend. That is modern and vintage sidecars. https://dirtydr.smugmug.com/Bonneville-GP

Ours are a mixture of sidecar and motorcycle, more motorcycle races though.
