sidecar installation
Hello to All,
I live in mid-Michigan and I have a Russian sidecar that I want to install on a 1982 R100 RT BMW. Does anyone out there know of a good installer within a couple hundred miles?
Thanks for any advice you have to offer.

Another Michigan newbie tagging up to this thread as I'd like to know the answer too! I did a Google search and found one in Hastings (between GR and Battle Creek), but I think they deal more with scooters than full sized motorcycles. Their website doesn't mention sidecars though. http://www.mcsupply.com/

I have a 74 R90 with a Ural car. I am not sure by your post how much you plan to do your self but you might try Lowell Neff for advice and parts. He specializes in BMW side car parts. I can't find his phone # in my files but he lives in Dragoon, AZ. Perry Bushong in Fort Worth, TX also specializes in BMW,s. He used to own a BMW dealership. The Ural dealer mentioned is a very nice gentelman. I just live on the Ohio Mich line. I am certainly not an expert but am more than wlling to offer what help I can. Tom
