Send a Free Thank You Postcard to U.S. Troops from Online.
If this is a repost, or considered Spam, I'll gladly take the heat for it.
This is no hoax... Xerox will send a postcard on your behalf.
I decided to do this before I forward the message so that I wouldn't
forget or get lazy about it. It only took a few minutes, and it seems
important enought to be a good investment of time. If a soldier
can give so much, how could I not give ten minutes back?
Something cool that Xerox is doing
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com
you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is
currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the
armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a few minutes.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or
against the war, our guys and gals over there deserve to know we are behind them.
One thing I forgot to mention in my original post...
You can't send mail to a soldier without a name and address.
There are nutjobs out there who would send stuff like "Thanks
you baby killing idiot" to our troops if they could do so.
So the post office discards mail addressed "To any soldier".

Not every soldier has family that sends mail, so this is a way that
Xerox will send a postcard adressed from you to a soldier without
it being specifically addressed.
