Can you post a picture? Maybe it was for an Australian customer.

The last time I visited Motorvation they were working on a batch of left mount cars for the Australian market. Apparently it's not unusual for them [but it sure did look "funny"].

I used to know how to post pic's, can't say the same now(old age), and the rig is in California not Australia, also says can be switched from left to right hand use easily, that's a trick I'd like to see, it's on e-bay so it must be true 🙂

If we still used cameras with film, I would suspect a negative used backwards when the picture was printed.

It's a leftie!
I had a leftie CSC Companion in the shop about 20 years ago. It went on an FLH Harley. The owner wanted clearance for a kick starter.
Liberty makes lefties, DMC now makes lefties and I'm sure others have, now and in the past.
Japan is the biggest market for them. Though small folks in size, they like big Harleys and baggers and are willing to pay big bucks for them. I imagine OZ could be a close second.
Almost any sidecar with a separate fender is a good candidate for a leftie conversion. On some you can just flip the frame and reposition the shock mount.
