Scooter Hack for Winter Use????
I'm planning on building a sidecar for a scooter to use in the winter. My questions are:
1. Has anyone used a scooter to ride in snow covered roads and are there any problems with it, such as snow and slush build ups.
2. Are there any scooters with sidecars in this group? I don't see much traffic in the site.
Thanks

Hi, Lonnie...Having just purchased a very nice used Silverwing, I can state that the bike has good power and the CVT transmission really lets it take off....
I'm thinking someday might want to hack it...how much does the Velorex weigh and how does it affect the bike's acceleration and ability to maintain speed (for example, on the freeway)? Also, can an alternate wheel with a tubeless rim be fitted to the Velorex?
The 562C weighs about 160#. The Silverwing can maintain freeway speeds and we have a tubeless tire conversion is available.

Filed away in the memory banks for later...Thanks!
Claude and Kessee are building a smaller car to go on small bikes and scooters.
Might try them a Claude Stanley Motorsports 5708375120

We don't normally have snow here. My wife is on her 2nd 650 Burgman. I can attest she can run with any sane person . Saw 100 mph on 03. 90 is fastest on 08. Both pulling Inder Bullet (Cozy look alike). I can send pictures. I haven't figured out how to post them here. J.R.
