The wife and I are leaving tomorrow on about a 3,000 mile ride. Along the way, we'll do the Ride for Kids in Marysville, Oh on July 24th and then the following weekend in Hudson Valley on Aug. 1st. We're also planning to cruise the coast of Maine for a couple days. We planned our dates and routes to coincide with these Rides for Kids. It's a worthy cause and taking handicapped and terminal kids for rides is the biggest reason we bought the hack. We lost our only child 4 years ago and we wanted to put a smile on these kids faces, in her honor/memory. The link above takes you to their site. Anyone else doing these rides? We have 3 others planned the remainder of this year.
Someone on here is from Maine..Anything I should go see, roads I should try if possible? We've always just wanted to go see some cool little' fishin' towns on the ocean. I need a pic of my rig with fishin' boats docked in the background !!! Cool !
Very nice ride.......We have done a couple of rides for kids ours were in Southbend Indy.
We try to help in a couple of the Ride for Kids rides as well. Have now gotten involved as volunteers here in TX. Great reason to bring out the hacks!
