My Triumph Bonneville America has a 15 " by about 5.5 "rear wheel. But now it has spooke wheels, but those gray beards as I call them(moto guzzi) rider's have been caulking the spookes and useing tubles tire's. I know that's it dangrest, but remenber with a sidecar you don't strest the rear wheel like on two wheels. So that said how about a tubles car tire.rudyr

The rear wheel is stressed MORE, not less, on a sidecar rig than a solo bike.It is called upon to now deal with side loads that a solo bike does not and more weight.
Also the 15" motorcycle wheels are the only motorcycle size wheel that many of us DO NOT recomend mounting a car tire on. The wheel is actually too large for the car tire bead area. Yes, some have done it and been okay ...but...some have not been so fortunate. This has been beat around here and at other sites many many times.
