Just had a nice long telephone conversation with Tom about days gone by.  Good times!

Turns out that picture I posted above was Petey at 8:15am (not at sunset) -- he musta been trying to suck a little heat out of those rays before we took off down the road.  I also got a pic of the man himself right in the middle of an early morning yawn.  We were headed out from Lake Five Resort to beat the crowds into Glacier National Park.

Have owned 5 rigs but Rig #2 is my current one!

LOL, Ned!! You sure it was a yawn? More likely I was talking. Seems that's what I do most..... Or looking closer, maybe a sneeze coming on.

This is a hard post to add to this thread.

As many of you may have heard, the member who started this thread "Reardan Tom" passed away this last weekend, less than two weeks after losing his sidecar dog Petey.  Tom spent the day last Saturday with friends having a good time at a local event, not getting home until 11pm.  A full day.  Good for you, Tom!

The week before, Tom called me on the phone.  He was having Petey cremated, the first time he'd ever done that for a dog.  He asked me to email him the photo of Petey that I posted earlier in this thread.  He said he was going to have that photo added to the urn he was buying for Petey.  The day before Tom passed, he sent me a picture of the urn with the photo.  I thought it would be fitting to include this photo on this thread.  Here it is.

Very nice tribute Ned, in my mind Tom is across that rainbow bridge, thrilled beyond words to be sidecaring with Archie, Henry and Petey once more.
