our gov. rides a sidecar
I was watching tv they were showing photos of the Gov. also interviewed was Doug Bingham of Sidestrider they showed Doug being interviewed also gave the news crew a spin in the sidecars.
A positive spot lite for us finally
Doug is always touting sidecars to whoever will listen.
He gets a lot of ink in California and Nationally by being a super activist to the sidecar cause. Years of sidecar racing and having been a sponsor of the Griffith Park Sidecar Rally for almost 35 years have put him in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame and word in most motorcycle oriented publications.
As the owner of Sidestrider and Chairman of the Sidecar Industry Council his goal in the industry and the goal of the SIC is to have at least one sidecar outfit in every garage. Lacking a garage? Then one parked out front or in the yard will do.

Anyone seen a pic of the Govenator's Rig? I would be interested to see what he is driving.
Green H.D. Ural rig
i do want to point this out, i was reading all about how he was rideing with out a motorcycle license well page 4 of the califorina motorcycle handbook reads as following
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
California issues the following license classes for
Two-wheel vehicle operation:
Class M1- you may operate any two-wheel motorcycle
Or motor-driven cycle and all vehicles listed under Class M2
Class M2-you map operate any motorized bicycle or any
Bicycle with an attached motor.
Class C-you may operate a motorcycle with a sidecar
Attached, a three-wheel motorcycle, or a motorized scooter
ok now i forgot the point i was makeing,
i guess it was something about the press making a mountain out of a ant hill
NBC network news made a big deal out of him having no motorcycle license on the 11:00 news. Later they said that he had a sidecar (C) endorsement.
He was on a dark green URAL sidecar rig on the news blip. So what's with that?
The news media doesn't seem to report the news anymore. They try to make their own it seems.
