(for all the riders out there that think they are skilled enough to ride without one)

I wouldn't ride across the street without one but I don't think the government should mandate that I wear one.

In 50 plus years of riding, I've never "bounced" my head on the pavement. Wouldn't ride without a helmut just because I figure there's always a chance of hitting the pavement!
