Liz,

I've been involved is several minor and two major accidents in the 30 years I've been riding. Starting with a broken hip at age 14, while riding a Honda trail 90 HA HA ! my wife has endured the most damage, left leg AK amputee, closed head injury, broken pelvis on and on. Our hearts and lives revolve around riding, so I don't see us throwing the towel in because of accidents. People crash cars everyday and don't stop driving! We both still love riding, going to events and life in general. She finally starts therapy this coming Monday so hopefully she will be able to ditch the walker in time and get back to walking with her cane.Hope you have a plesent and safe week.
Jim

You are correct that MCA get more press than MVA, thankfully you both still have heart, I know of at least 2 rt BKA that still ride they rigged the hand break for rear wheel got me swinging on how they balance the stop!
I just gave you (previous entry) of our typical, not saying that bad things just happen to good people for no apparent reason, that is why they are called accidents.
Keep strong, happy safe riding, L

Jim,
Joyce explained it to you in post #30781.
However your digital photos must be reduced in size to under 200KB or they won't upload to the site. AVATAR photos must be under 100KB.
This can be done on XL systems by right clicking the mouse and left click resize pictures. There are three options on resizing. Small, medium and large. If you can't get them under 200KB this way, another option is to use Photobucket or some other photo sending utility.
The problem with Photobucket is that sometimes the uploaded pix are so large that you can't see the whole picture in a single viewing. One has to search and traverse using the mouse.
