New rig
For the past couple of years, I have been riding an 06 Ural Tourist. Early in the summer, I had an incident which sent the Ural to Happy Hunting Ground in a blaze of glory. This left me without a rig, though I still had an 01 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. So, when the insurance company settled up with me, I used the money to put a Texas Sidecar Standard on the Bandit. I had it installed by its maker and have nothing but praise for the outstanding job done by Bob Darden and the treatment I received from him and his wife Deb. For those of you looking for a good tug, I'm happy to report that the Bandit 1200 is proving to be a great choice. It handles wonderfully and has plenty of power to handle the task, including enough torque. As far as I'm concerned, the Bandit has been one of the most under rated bikes out there. I bought mine new and it now has 47,500 miles on it, including a trip to Homer, Alaska, and back. It is a great ride and is proving to be a good tug as well.
Sounds like a good marriage.

Congratulations on the new rig. From a brief test ride, I recall the Bandit 1200 definitely pulls strong. Seems I read about a 0-60mph time of under 4 seconds somewhere. Also good to hear of another satisfied customer of Bob & Deb.
But where's the photo??
