New (old)Kid on the Block
Just wanted to say "Hi". Am totally new to the sidecar world as of this past Sunday. Have been riding over 50 years and purchased my first sidecar because my GF has 'secondary progressive' MS and although she wants to ride behind me the SC is the safest.
Am still learning how to 'drive' my Harley instead of 'riding'. Matter of fact I'm still putting my feet down and kick stand down when stopping. Probably a habit that I'll keep because I also ride an FXDL LowRider. Wouldn't want a re-run of the tricycle on LaughIn.
This site was recommend by a couple guys over on the Harley board (V-Twinforum) that I hang out on. Probably just sit over here in the corner and watch for a while. Was going to post a couple pics but couldn't find a hammer and nails.

Welcome to the world of sidecars.
Welcome aboard Sheldon!! Lots of info here. Would recomend reading Hal Kendall's sidecar books that are free for the download . The lkink is in my signature below.
Oh,be carfull when putting your feet down as there is 'stuff' between you and the sidecar that you can run over yourself with. Pretty embarrasing if you are lucky....pretty darn painfull if you aren't!
Post often 🙂

Thanks Claude, that looks like some good reading. I looking for all the info I can gather. Am acting like a sponge these days. Like I indicated I've had a SC 4 days now and am planning to start do some handling "fine" tuning now.

Welcome. Glad to have you here. Looking at your interests I know I like you already. I haven't been riding for quite 50 years yet. (first bike in 1963)
the tug on my rig is a 1987 FXLR lowrider 10th anniversary
