hartford3 - 1/20/2010 7:39 AM Yes, we used Chrysler K-car (Reliant-etc.) hub and brake assemblys. We simply bought then at the junk yard in West Jeff and rebuilt them.
Did you use the front or rear setups? If a front then it would be easier to find one with the same size spindle/bearing setup and disc brakes. I haven't looked at the rear of the hub yet to see if it has the parking brake assembly on it or not. Still cool here and I have no garage to work in. We need to exchange phone numbers.
Sorry just got up, could have been more thourough. those were any 80's K cars. Paul had gotten a disc assembly that we had adapted to these hubs from a cycle supplier but can't remember who. We had problems with it working too good and locking up and had to install an adjustable proportioning valve. Also the machine shop who made our hardware is still in business and can still make parts. They are Adept Inc. in West Jefferson, Oh. They are some 'good ol boys' with a home town business.

Do you think they'd still have the specs for the mounting hardware? One of mine is a little messed up and I need a new one made or I'll have to weld it up and loose the ability to adjust it in and out.
