Hey folks,
Old man with tin knees just mounted Texas sidecar to my Roadstar so I can keep riding ...... ain`t that what its all about?? (72yrs young) left England in 1964 lived in N.E. Florida since ..... wifey likes to ride whenever she can.....
she is still a bit dubious about riding in sidecar....I need more practice....she remarked "those mailboxes look awful close" I must remember to stay left more now I have a 3rd wheel?? .... been browsing this forum for awhile to get info: before deciding on "hack" ..... want to let Ya`ll know, owner of Texas sidecars, Bob Darden is very helpful, and follow-up service is great............

Congrats on the new sidecar OleBrit. I too recall having to learn to stay in the left track as well. There is info re: driving here: www.sidecar.com/links3.asp. Jena & I both recommend a training course if one is available. Take your time learning, practice, practice some more. And have fun.

Hey OldBrit,

Where are you in NE FL?
My family is from Fernandina Beach, I ride out there every so often from the Panhandle.

FWIW when we had the Reflex/Texas rig I rode in it with my wife at the controls....the mail boxes seemed damn close to me too 😉

I can honestly say I have never been thru Keystone Heights.
Passing thru Interlachen is as close as it gets.

Cook Bayou is also a thriving metropolis here in the Panhandle.
We have a few stop signs, a marina/bar and a good number of the roads are actualy paved now....thats all I need 😉
