My New "Loyal Sidecar Ballast"
That looks good.
Lee, thanks for the pics and details, you've given me a great idea as to how I'll modify mine. Love the trunk cover, I think I'll incorporate a lock into mine as well as some padding because my wife will be taking the occasional ride in it, too. She probably won't agree to being harnessed in, so I'll have to make the anchor point detachable so a padded cushion can be placed on the floor. I'm still researching the vent idea, but will post a pic once it is done.
I doubt anybody will be messing with your rig! Nice looking dog!
Thanks for taking such good care of George.
Out here in the desert, Hubby and I have had good success with cool vests. They really do help in hot weather, if faithfully hydrated . I see that they do make some for dogs - type in dog cool vest - you should get quite a selection. I am sorry I cannot recommend a specific one, but I did see this one. http://www.k9power.com/chillybuddy-cooling-jacket-casual.html
Our cool vests work best with air flow. The reflective one may not be as dependent, and I think that might be a plus if air flow is limited. .. good luck

Now that is a great idea, G. At the shows we used to keep plenty of water on hand and wet towels ready when at ringside. This is an even better idea.
Cool vests for dogs - now there's something I never would have thought of. Excellent idea, thank you g!
There is a lady in Spokane who makes custom dog clothes. She made both Petey's jackets. I just sent her an e-mail asking if she would make something for him. She has a web site but off the top of my head I don't recall exactly what it is. If you do a Google search for Max's custom dog clothes, Spokane WA, you'd find it and she does do mail order.
Thanks, tw, I'll check that out.
Bookmarked. Thanks again, tw.
