Bought the Hondasauras last wednesday and today I logged in my first 100miles. I feel very good most of the time but occasionally I get a little nervous on the right hand turn. Did about 10 miles of hwy driving today at speeds 55 to almost 70. It rides smooth and straight. At 70 I was turning
4200rpms and my mechanic says that is good. I am looking foreward to taking my rig to the next sidecar club meeting and getting some feedback for the pros. People sure like to tal to me about the rig and Instead of getting waves( with one finger when I ride the Rebel) people smile a lot at me and wave with the whole hand. Kids really check the rig out. I guess I am Hooked. Jim-Denver

Hi Jim,

Right hand turns are tough if you have a stock front end, one thing that will help is to plan your right hand turns so that you can slow down and then when in the turn give it some gas, this can be troublesome if you don't plan it so practice it,,,a lot, also if you back off on the gas when making a left it will help pull the rig around the corner and practice evasive moves, quick rights and lefts.

Approaching the 2nd 100 miles was going really smoothly until about 3 days ago. For 2 days I couldn't hardly make a right turn at any speed. At this point I was seriously thinking I would never learn to ride this thing so I should just sell it and purchase another mc. I finally notice the weld on my rear top mount near the bottom of the cargo box had broken. This is of course was what was causing my MC to try to go left aas I am makeing a right turn. Only at the very slowest speed possible was I even able to make the turn. I got it welded yesterday and rode it today. What an amazing difference, My other problem was the single seat was causing me to ride so far foreward
that after a few miles My knees were so stiff I couldn't hardly get off the bike without a major effort to stand up and preparing myself for the pain. I found an original seat on craigslist, bought it and installed it also yesterday. This allowed me to ride further back and by changing the angle of my legs to the pegs I rode for over 1/2 hr and had no problems with my legs. Isn't it amazing what a few little changes can do in building your confidence and enjoyment. I guess I will keep the Hondasauras. I will however inspect the rig before starting out. Jim in Denver
