Does anyone know of a cycle cover big enough to fit a GL1200 with a friendship III hack? I am thinking I might be into a small car cover size, but wasn't sure what others did...

Thanks!!

I can't imagine one that would cover both. The Friendship is pretty big. If you want to have something made, see if Pat Pink is still doing Upholstery work. He did the seat on my '86 Aspencade many years ago. If you head up 61 toward St Paul, his house and shop was the first or second place on the left past the big boat dealer. John's marine was across the highway.

I have a factory cover from California Sidecar you can borrow for a pattern if you end up with separate covers.

That reminds me, I still have a Factory cover for my Motorvation Formula 2. Maybe I'll toss it on to ebay.

Do you happen to have a picture of the factory cover on the sidecar?

This may be deceptive. I have a mirror, and two wind wings on it, so this may not fit exactly right. It is also dust covered, so I don't want to twist it around a lot and scratch it up.

Thanks! I will have to do some checking around for one. Are you finished mounting the sidecar to your wing? One other unrelated question, is that a folding step on the side?

Not quite finished. The PO has a 6 CD changer wired with about 30 wires running to the bike. My son suggested that I just get rid of it, but I want to try to wire it entirely into the sidecar. I don't listen to music on the bike, I'm happy with news and GPS for company, and my wife can use the MP3 in the hack.

I still have some bodywork to put on, but am almost finished with that. I haven't started on the PowerTrak, but figure I can do that on a rainy weekend. I really don't need it, but will put it on later anyway.

The first test ride was fun. I'm leaned out a bit, but not enough to worry about. It can be fixed easily enough.

The paint is going to have to wait until next year. The budget is stretched pretty thin.

To all those who have sent emails about the Motorvation cover, it has been sold. Sorry

Do you still need a measurement on the bottom mounts? I will be working on the wing this weekend and can get it for you if you like. The new tires for the wing should be here thursday, as well as progressive fork springs. The rear shocks went on backorder after I ordered them =( but I was told that it shouldn't be much longer on those. On your stereo...could you run an auxillary battery in the trunk of the car and hook it up there? I've got a second battery wired into the trunk on mine, with a lever switch to pull it out of the loop unless needed. Easier on the old charging system. But I would think a newer wing could handle it.
