Like Snowmobiling in the Sun
I picked up my Harley Hertiage and California Sidecar Friendship III today, whehew. Me and my 2 boys put on just a little over 200 miles today, boy are my shoulderblades sore!
My 7 yr old fell asleep 20 minutes into the ride when we left the dealership, napped again a few hours later, then the 9 yr old fell asleep around 10pm just about 15 miles from home. Must be a comfortable ride:) Everytime we would stop somewhere (grad party or friends and realtives) the boys would be asking 20 minutes later "Can we go back out and ride now"? They are real troopers about wearing their new helmets and putting on sun glasses. The little guy got plain black and put skeleton stickers on it, the older fella, well....I just could not talk him into a black helmet. Noooooooo he picks a red, white, and blue helmet with an huge Eagle on the top and stars and stripes on the sides of it. Ya you can see us commin' a mile away:)
Can't wait to get up tomorrow and meet with the HD chapter for our weekly breakfast run:) To me....Of everything I've read, the best way to describe what driving a sidecar is like, it's like driving a snowmobile without the Minnesota 10 degree below zero windchill.

Sounds like time for raked trees Mom.
That'll sure save those shoulders.
