Laughable Urals...?
Went to a mini-rally today between Black Mountain and Asheville today. I have a sterling silver place setting that's been in my family for generations that's saved for eating humble pie. I have a big slice that's still warm from the oven. Have to say that I'm really impressed with the Urals coming out the last couple of years, as well as the ingenuity and technical skill of some of the owners.
There was a guy there who is making possibly the best solo seat I've ever seen OR SAT ON. Looks like a '40s style tractor seat crossed with a /2 solo seat with a sprinkle of Corbin style. He has a waiting list, but I can guarantee I'm getting my next seat from him; Richard Maund at rgmaund@netzero.net e-mail hm and he'll send a link to his gallery.
Rich was at the RON DEE VOO last year. Great guy , very knowlegeble and quite a good upholsterer to boot! 'scuse my spellin' pleese.
Rich also made it to Hack'd
Claude,
Just for the record, I don't think "vegitable" starts with a "kn". What's that got to do with that thread, or am I missing your rapier-like wit again?
Uncle Ernie, of whom no songs have been written because what rhymes with that?
