For Friendship III,where can I find and buy a pair of "Lid Latch" ?

In speciallized industrial hardware shops or catalogues like Grainger or MSC you find excellent closing latches in galvanied or stainless steel.
Just as 2 cent idea. I like to have generic options.

Or you could use the latch assembly Harley uses on it's tour packs - not sure what kind of latch you need.

Perko makes one that is pretty close. Manuf. # 1108DP0CHR available from any boat dealer. Theirs is chrome plated bronze, so it isn't cheap, but a marina would probably have other choices. http://www.seaboundsupply.com/perko-1108dp0chr-lockable-hold-down-clamp.html/
