My Valkyrie started it's long ride to it's new home in Flagstaff, AR last Sunday morning. I want to thank Vernon Wade and Doug Bingham both for helping it's new owner, Rick, decide to choose my rig.

Now it's time for the next chapter in my riding life. One of the few brands that I have never owned or ridden has been Moto Guzzi. After the wonderful time I had last August at the Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Rally I promised myself I would try one before I bought anything else.

Newfiedad was kind enough to "loan" me his for an extended test ride.

It took all of about 60 miles to convince me that this will be my next sidecar rig. Thanks Fred.

Now, what sidecar to buy?? Any suggestions?

A Hannigan Classic Sidecar would look great on your new bike. We have
one on a V-Star 1100 Classic and it looks great. I can E-mail pictures
to you if you wish.

Post some pics here! We'd all like to see. Whereabouts in the Cincy area are you? I'm in the middle of moving to Wilmington myself.

Saw your post on Wildgoose; as was said there, nice bike. I second the Hannigan Classic, but I'm biased:

A Watsonian Classic or a Steib replica might look nice. Got to please yourself.

Don't know how to post a photo here. We live in the Kenwood area of
Cincy.

Marlene,

Check out the info here for posting and including pics here at USCA. And, by the way, welcome aboard!

-sorry, Mike, didn't intend to hijack the thread. Maybe not hijacked, more of a powerslide in the corner 😉 -

I really like the looks of the small Hannigan.

Mike, here's hoping you reach a decision soon and it happens quickly. The withdrawl symptoms of not having a sidecar coupled with the greiving process from seing your last rig go away must be overwhelming. ;>)

One nice practical thing about that model Hannigan is that when the top is on it and the passenger wants to get out the top lifts up with the sidecar body.

Really? Bill, do you have a photo of it opened up?

Here's a photo of our Hannigan Super Sport with the lid up. While not a Classic model, it's pretty close.

Well, Mike, you know me, I make those spiffy lower mounts to put a Velorex on your EV out of stainless steel. Yes the Velorex is a bit light for the EV, but I always run car batteries in the trunk instead of the MC batteries anyway, so it works fine. A 565 Velroex would be sweet, flip up nost and all.

Sorry, I don't care for the looks of a Velorex, except the old round nosed 560. I don't think it would look right on this, though. If I can find a way to afford it, I think I'll go with a Hannigan.
