Hello, all. I just found your forum and it looked to be right up my alley. I have owned various bikes, mostly old American stuff since about 1982. The last few years I also took a shine to loop frame guzzis and sidecars.

I currently have two bikes. A 1980 Harley FLH with a factory hack:

And a 71 Guzzi Ambassador. I have a hack purchased for the goose as well as a funky old tub (old carnival ride as near as I can figure) that may replace the body currently on that rig.

I also briefly owned another Ambo hack rig that a good friend talked me out of last summer.

I will attempt to attach a few pics and then sit back and try to be polite while I get to know your forum.

Thanks!

Mark

Hi Mark,
That FL rig looks like a real mud tosser with those fenders, or lack thereof.
Do you plan on mounting the Spirit Eagle on the Guzzi and using the drop tank to replace the Eagle body?
Is that an air horn peeking it's nose out from the outboard side of the Jawa 560?

Ha! Yeah, the fenders have been puchased for both the hack and the front end. I think maybe everything will get a new color in the process. The purple doesn't exactly speak to me and the bike and hack don't match well.

Yup, thinking about using the droptank on the Spirit Frame with a CJ fender I have seen on ebay. I would like to just locate a lobuck frame and leave the Spirit Eagle together to sell. I know Lee "Lunatic" Bruns and I know he could build me a frame but distance is an issue.

That is an old airhorn on the 560. It was a pretty crazy ride. Ratted out with kewpie doll heads, roadkill pelts and the like. I didn't do a thing to it other than change oil when I had it. I got it looking just like that picture...
