I bought it! All the photos I've been posting are of the rig that was in the ad. It was mentioned as being a POS. Maybe. For a POS, it sure is growing on me.

rear wheel unknown origin, front forks work well, still don't appear to leak engine trans and frame match title, NEVER WRECKED, drives straight and true, rear fender unknown origin you might have to replace the timing belts but they are so cheap and easy to get to?? who cares they are maybe 4 yrs old? seat is fair, shocks work? yes new front tire. yes that's a kickstarter , it stores under tank cover, shifter is custom to work over foot pad things, works well. Salvage because Bobs cycle sold it. sidecar alone worth 2 grand with a good windshield, and replacement only costs $150 the aluminum dividers and side windows are in the car

We have for sale a 1978 Goldwing 1000 with a Vetter sidecar . Looks factory install , sidecar in fair shape , black in color , never painted or repaired , has original comfortable seat, could use a new one . sides of windscreen missing . aluminum rails are there . original cover for sidecar( snap on ) included same size tire as front of motorcycle.
Honda Goldwing with extended pipes and a Harley rear fender big windscreen original seat . I tuned this bike last year for a friend, runs very well and trans good all belts good loud like a Harley and fast, side car needs to be oiled to be able to adjust on the fly, like a handle or something I just use 50 lbs water bag. to keep weight on that side. drives well. New front tire ( Honda mount and balance)and shock seals 9 mo. ago , now has sat for 6 months again, I was asked to tune it again but my friend just cant ride it, he is getting old , like all of us and needs something much smaller now.
3 months ago I found Honda 1000 carb bodies that are like new ( a rare find) and some more spare parts all will be included in sale.
this is truly a great bike. it Does need inspection? its 55$ at Broadway and I10 station

Yeah that's the one... I wanted to reread it because I thought the ad said it had new belts. I see I was incorrect..
By the way, are you going to the VRCC BBQ in Prescott on Saturday?
Yep! Going to Prescott Saturday. Riding with Sandy. Guaranteed I'll be the only Bumblebee Tourer at the gathering. (Honda never made one).
As to the belts on this old GL, the ad "said" they were newish. I chose the conservative route and changed them anyway.
I don't think they were newish, and it never hurts to freshen them up.
