installer - Mid-Atlantic area
I'd like to buy a watsonian-squire sidecar and put it on a new triumph bonneville. I live in the Philadelphia area - would anyone be able to recommend an installer within a few hours of Philly?
Check our our Dealers and Installers list. There is a bunch of information listed behind the forum pages and you access them from the Home Page top menu.

Thank you. I did check there before posting - the dealer is in California so I'm looking for an installer and nothing on the resource page is in the mid-atlantic area.
Hi Weston, OK so I don't know where mid-Atlantic is for sure, but you did say close to Philly, right?

The sidecar world is smaller than you think and some dealers also install other brands. I know Claude does. Best to call and ask.

Wes,
We can install it for you if you wish. We are located in central pa probably three hours or less from you. If you are gtting the sidecar from Doug Bingham you could have him ship it directly here to our shop if it would work out for you better. Be sure to say hello to him for me.
Feel free to give me a call at one of the numbers listed and we can discuss details. Yes, we are a full time sidecar business.
Claude
Weston: Please to let us know how things work out, when, where, and who you bought from and had it installed and your first day in the saddle.
Thank you, Claude.
Wes
Well after a number of conversations with Claude, Doug Bingham of Side Strider and the folks at Watsonian in the UK, I placed an order today for the GP Jubilee which I intend to have attached to a new Triumph Bonneville. It will likely be August before all is together.
A big thank you to Claude for his help and advice and willingness to install. I'll post once the maiden flight is under my belt.

Wes,
Just wanted to say that Doug called me to discuss the plan of attack etc. Good followup by a guy who has been around this sport forever.
Once hooked up I think it would be a good idea to allow some time for me to test it out to make sure all is well. Probably will take about 2 to 3 months, or at least until winter, for this part of the procedure. Yikes, just kidding Wes.
Seriously, this will no doubt be one beautiful rig. Looking forward to seeing it complete 🙂
