Can someone give me a ballpark idea as to what the "install labor" cost is to attach and setup a hack on a Burgman 650?
Thanks, Bill

I'd say about $750. Depends on which car and what accessories are involved though.

On our sidecars for your bike, they come with the bike specific not "Universal" mounting hardware. Part of the cost of doing the bergman is the time it takes to take off and reinstall the plastic.

I can relate to the cost of the mounts for a Road Glide, actually any 2009 and newer FL frame. Seems like no one considers this a standard frame and all mounts have to be especially machined for a bike, rather than just buying a kit or something manufactured and available off the shelf. My real complaint was the time involved. Took a month for the mounts to be manufactured and delivered. I know now that I am not alone in being frustrated at the availability of mounting kits for sidecars. I think someone is missing a bet by not making a ton of these mounts for an FL frame HD and cornering the market, so to speak.
Having said all that, the mounts were just about perfect, even disregarding the lack of documentation. Sort of intallation by sight and feel, but it went well. The car tracks perfectly and the damper is a vital part of the install on the Road Glide, at least until I save the price of the triglide trees and the install. Hopefully I can do this at my next major service and save a bunch of money in the process.
anyone for a ride in the Orlando area?

Premanufacturing late Harley FLH (or other) mount sets en masse isn't a practical solution. Tthere are many different sidecars that are mounted to these bikes. Each bike and sidecar has its own variations of mount positions, styles and accessability issues due to accessories.
Even mounting an OEM Harley sidecar to an FLH can cost close to $2,00.00 due to changes in different year models of bike and sidecar.
After market mount sets are less expensive and aftermarket sidecars offer a better ride if they have a sprung chassis.
Most sidecar conversions aren't a knee jerk purchase so a few weeks amassing the needed parts isn't a big deal.
I've had clients who mulled it over for more than three years before making the decision to change to a hack rig.
